NJCLD 2025 Winter Symposium: Learning Disabilities and Behavior In and Out of the Classroom: Executive Function

Members, CLD is an active participant of the National Joint Committee on Learning Disabilities. Please join us for the free 2025 Winter Symposium, “Learning Disabilities and Behavior In and Out of the Classroom: Executive Function .”  It will be held via Zoom on Thursday, January 23 from 5:00-6:00pm Eastern Standard Time. This webinar is the last of a four-part series, featuring renowned expert Dr. Lynn Meltzer. Her presentation will focus on approaches educators can use to promote metacognitive awareness, executive function, and social-emotional learning for all students, especially students with learning and attention difficulties.

Throughout, attendees will learn practical strategies for understanding students’ metacognitive awareness and for teaching goal-setting, flexible problem-solving, organizing, prioritizing, and self-monitoring strategies as part of the classroom curriculum.
