Dissemination of high-quality research in special education is essential. But methods of dissemination remain limited. Barriers to making knowledge more accessible include using technical and academic language may make information inaccessible to families, community members, and practitioners. In addition, reading journal articles may not be the most preferred or effective method of learning new knowledge.

This is why Cohort 13 of the 2024 Brian Bryant Leadership Academy launched the CLD Research Briefs Podcast. It is a dissemination initiative aimed at disseminating award-winning research through accessible and engaging formats.

The purpose of this project is to increase access to award-winning learning disability research by transforming the information presented in conventional academic format into more accessible and engaging formats through podcasts and infographics.
