Every year the Council for Learning Disabilities (CLD) selects outstanding work published in its flagship journals, Learning Disability Quarterly and Intervention in School and Clinic, to be recognized as Must-Read Articles. The intent of the award is to provide recognition to scholars who promote research in the field of learning disabilities.
The annual selection of Must-Read articles is based on nominations from the editors of the two journals and reviews by the CLD Research Committee. All papers that were published within a 12-month period (between July 1 and June 30) are eligible for consideration. The award is announced at the CLD Annual Conference, and awardees present findings from their manuscripts in a symposium held at that annual meeting.
